What do you use to thin Cerakote?
Answer from Admin
We don't recommend adding or removing anything from our coatings in hopes of adjusting the viscosity if it's too thick or thin. Doing so may jeopardize the performance and longevity of what we know our products are capable of. There are ways to mitigate coating from reaching a point of unusable status. The articles below provide information on Cerakote® shelf-life, storage and agitation to assist with longevity.
What is the Shelf-Life of Cerakote?

I'm planning on doing 5, 17" wheels how many ounces should I get?
Answer from NIC Industries Inc.
In regards to our C-Series products, we recommend a quart of coating to cover your five 17" wheels if you plan to coat the entire wheel. A pint of coating will suffice if you plan to only coat the faces.
