AV8 Precision Coatings is the Cerakote and laser finishing division of AV8 Industries, based in Peachtree City, Georgia. We're a certified Cerakote applicator with a background in aviation maintenance, and we bring aviation discipline to every part that comes through the shop.

The shop is run by an FAA-licensed A&P mechanic who has held his certificate since 1989. He also founded Jet Research, an aviation technical consulting firm that has been in business since 1996. That background shapes how we work: every job is prepped to a documented process, traced on a work order, and inspected before it leaves.

What we coat:

Aircraft interior hardware: We refinish galley latches and similar small components with Cerakote over the existing anodized finish. Each job comes with a coating traveler and dimensional records for operators who need a paper trail.
Automotive, motorcycle and marine parts: Brackets, trim, fasteners, and engine and exhaust components.
Industrial and commercial parts: Tools, fixtures, enclosures and custom hardware.
Laser engraving and marking: Part numbers, logos and custom graphics on coated and bare metals, using fiber and CO2 laser systems.
