About Us

Tony's remarkable journey in the coatings industry began 17 years ago when he was hired to help build and manage a powder coating facility in Quincy, IL. With zero prior knowledge or experience, he quickly immersed himself in the business, driving it from a relatively small operation to an impressive $1 million in gross revenue in just 5 years. Tony's exceptional leadership and comprehensive management skills transformed the facility into the largest powder coating facility within a 100-mile radius. While Tony's success in the powder coating industry was evident, his true passion lay in firearms. As a devoted gun enthusiast, he eagerly attempted to apply Cerakote in the powder business, but the endeavor fell short. Undeterred, Tony ventured into starting his own business, focusing primarily on applying Cerakote ceramic coating to firearms all the while thinking forward to discovering new applications for the product outside the world of firearms. Tony is also very interested in expanding his services as the business grows, laser engraving and Hydro Graphics are both a part of his vision for the future.
